Travel RN Job Details

• Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract

• Facility Setting: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Unit 7040)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30); rotating weekdays, holidays, and weekends
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2500–$2560/week
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Scrubs Provided
• Orientation: Bi-weekly

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or Compact State (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a hospital setting
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing
• Ability to work rotating weekdays, holidays, and weekends as needed
• Travel nurses must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, and pharmacy
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including holidays and weekends
