Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Builds and maintains a network of customers from which to identify new sales leads.
2. Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
3. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
4. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
5. Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
6. Stays up to date on building products and trends through provided training and self-initiatives.
7. A high level of service will be expected, requiring occasionally delivery of material to customers. Order sizes would be those small enough for transportation by the company pickup truck.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

4. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

6. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
7. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment:
This job is operated in a professional office / retail environment with Construction job-site visits. This role routinely uses standard point-of-sale equipment, computers, cell phone, laptop, and company provided pickup truck.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Travel:
Travel up to 50% visiting customers, vendors, and construction job sites. A company pickup truck will be provided. A clean driving record is required.

Requirements:Education / Experience / Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales Business or related field preferrable but not required.
2. 5 years of Sales-related experience required.

The employee must occasionally lift or move products and supplies up to 50 pounds.
