Responsibilities:

• Develop customized fitness programs tailored to each client's goals, fitness level, and medical background

• Lead engaging group fitness classes that motivate participants and promote a fun, energetic atmosphere

• Provide expert instruction on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and safety protocols

• Conduct fitness assessments, track progress, and adjust programs to ensure continuous improvement

• Educate clients on physiology, anatomy, and effective workout strategies to maximize results

• Promote health club memberships and training services through excellent customer interactions

• Maintain a clean, organized workout space while adhering to health and safety standards

• Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing education and certifications

Qualifications

• Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or sports coaching within a gym or health club setting

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing safe and effective programs

• Ability to teach physical education concepts clearly and confidently to diverse audiences

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for motivating others and fostering a positive environment

• Sales skills related to fitness services and memberships are highly desirable

• Certification in personal training or related fields (e.g., NASM, ACE) preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications required for some roles

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
