Shrub Team Leader

As a Shrub Team Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our clients, working alongside a dedicated team. Responsibilities

• Lead and work with a team to perform shrub and landscape maintenance, ensuring high-quality results for clients
• Prune, trim, and care for trees, shrubs, and hedges using appropriate tools such as shears, pruners, and chainsaws
• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch as needed
• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, mulching, aerating, weeding, and removing thatch
• Install and maintain landscape features, including mulch and flower beds, drainage solutions, irrigation, landscape lighting, and hardscapes
• Remove dead plant material and weeds from beds to keep landscapes healthy and attractive
• Use tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and power mowers
• Blow debris from driveways, walkways, and parking lots to maintain clean and safe outdoor areas
• Be on call for snow removal during winter months, with overtime pay for snow removal activities
• Ensure dependability by consistently arriving on time and committing to required work hours

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience required
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Willingness to learn all aspects of lawn maintenance and landscape installation
• Driver's license preferred

Compensation

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour for landscaping work.
$33.00 – $37.50 per hour for snow removal (1.5x pay rate during snow removal activities).
