We are seeking a qualified CNC Machine Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service for our CNC machines directly at customer facilities. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of CNC machinery, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues. You will work closely with clients to ensure their machines are operating at peak efficiency while also providing training and support to their personnel. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining strong customer relationships, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients alike. You will be tasked with documenting service reports and ensuring that all maintenance protocols and safety standards are adhered to. As a key player in our organization, you will help to elevate our customer service reputation within the industry. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be willing to travel extensively as part of the position, showcasing both your technical prowess and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machines.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Provide training and support to client operators and maintenance personnel on machine functions and features.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Document service activities and create detailed reports for each service call or installation.
• Collaborate with engineering and parts departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Experience in field service engineering for CNC machinery or similar industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including G-code and M-code.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical systems efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively engage with clients.
• Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to various customer locations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
