Landscape Mulching Bark Truck Team Leader

As a Landscape Team Leader – Mulching/Bark Truck Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing daily landscape maintenance operations, leading a crew, and ensuring high standards of service. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2-3 employees, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow on assigned properties.
• Operate bark blowers to distribute mulch on large landscapes and perform hand mulching in smaller areas.
• Perform lawn care duties, including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
• Identify and control weeds, pests, and diseases, applying appropriate treatments and recommending preventive measures.
• Operate and maintain landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines while performing landscape tasks and handling chemicals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure expectations are met and issues are addressed promptly.
• Report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with the larger team to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT card (assistance provided during the DOT process).
• At least 3 years of experience in mowing or landscape maintenance.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team.
• Proficiency in operating landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to commute to Robinson Township, PA.
