Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance for a client in a live-in set up
• Assist with ADLs that include but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping, run errands, laundry
• Offer non‑medical medication reminders
• Maintain a safe environment and report safety issues
• Document observations and completed tasks
• Follow care plans and agency protocols
• Communicate regularly with supervisor
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and families
• Track time and mileage accurately

Requirements

• 2+ years caregiving or home care experience
• Amenable to work in the client's residence as a live-in caregiver
• Able to work for clients located in Chester County, Montgomery County & Delaware County
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Able to pass PA background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong English communication skills
• Can also provide the following:
  • Proof of current flu vaccination
  • Proof of MMR vaccination, including reference ranges
  • Physical examination completed within the past 12 months, signed and stamped by a physician, indicating fitness for work
  • Tuberculosis clearance through one of the following: Quantiferon blood test completed within the past 12 months or Two-step PPD test completed within the last year
