Weatherization Crew Leader

Are you a seasoned weatherization professional ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? At Custom Weatherization, LLC, we’re seeking a hands-on Crew Leader to manage residential energy efficiency upgrades with precision, quality, and pride.

We’re not just looking for a worker, we want a craftsman, mentor, and leader who ensures the job is done right the first time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead a crew on residential weatherization projects from start to finish.
• Install insulation (attic, crawlspace, basement) and perform air sealing with blower door verification.
• Perform light electrical and plumbing work related to energy upgrades.
• Install windows, doors, water heaters, roof vents, and soffit vents.
• Coordinate material staging, job site cleanliness, and vehicle organization.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with utility program specifications.
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with homeowners.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 years of weatherization experience (REQUIRED).
• Prior experience leading a crew or working independently on job sites.
• Strong carpentry skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Comfortable working in attics, basements, crawlspaces, and on ladders (up to 30 ft).
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Reliable transportation, valid PA driver’s license, and basic tools.
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow detailed work scopes.

Preferred but Not Required:

• BPI certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Custom Weatherization, LLC is a quickly growing company that was started in 2006 and has been providing energy efficient services to both residential and commercial properties ever since. We provide service and expertise on the following; installation and removal of insulation, air sealing, draft testing, appliance testing, repair and installation of water heaters/solar water heaters/water heater heat pumps and much much more! We work with and are registered providers for reputable companies such as PP&L and Met Ed. We also work among other weatherization programs in a number of different counties throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We have great knowledge of all code and inspection requirements in the State!
