Overview

Atlas Therapy is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team in the State College office. Our ideal candidate has a desire to provide quality one-on-one care using their ever-evolving skills in our clinic. This position will be a combination of private room treatment as well as the utilization of expert exercise skills in a gym setting.

Requirements

1. Experience:
1. Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Licensure with a willingness to learn Atlas treatment strategies.
2. New grads or experienced clinicians welcomed.
2. Skills:
1. Must be comfortable using electronic documentation, and other basic technology.
2. Working one-on-one in private treatment rooms, assessing patients, building and executing patient plans of care; and implementing appropriate physical therapy interventions including manual hands-on treatment.
3. Characteristics:
1. Must be a highly motivated individual, a team player, and maintain a positive attitude.
2. Must be willing to work as a team keeping patient care on the forefront.
3. With the complexity of our cases, skillset advancement through continued education courses is encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must excel in a busy, outpatient setting with a multitude of medically complex patient cases. Candidate must be comfortable:

- Providing detailed physical therapy assessments

- Developing care plans to meet patients’ goals

- Providing manual based therapy approaches in a one-on-one setting

- Listening to patients and educating or advising them on physical therapy strategies to meet their goals

- Maintaining quality documentation and billing standards

- Working with web based electronic medical record, home exercise program, and integrated patient satisfaction tracking

- Being flexible to operational challenges and demands that require a full team approach

- Becoming an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serving our surrounding communities
