Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York City, NY. Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in React, TypeScript, and Python as the key qualification for this position.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing responsive web portals using React, TypeScript, and HTML5 with clean, reusable UI components.

• Building and maintaining RESTful APIs and Python‑based Lambda functions to support backend functionality.

• Creating dashboards, reports, and interactive UI elements that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

• Delivering well‑documented code along with comprehensive unit test results to ensure quality and maintainability.

• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly.

• Optimizing application performance and resolving technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.

• 4–6 years of experience in web development roles.

• Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in React, TypeScript, and HTML5 for building modern web portals and UI components.

• Candidate must have solid experience developing RESTful APIs and Python Lambda functions, including dashboard and report development with well‑documented, test‑ready code.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $51.00 per hour
