Abacus Corporation, a family-owned staffing leader with 80+ years of experience, is hiring a CNC Swiss Lathe Operator for a long-term opportunity with a growing precision manufacturing client.

Pay & Schedule
- $26–$34/hr (based on experience)
- Full-time, consistent hours
- 1st and 2nd shift opportunities (flex depending on production)
- Overtime available
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style lathes (tight tolerance work)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Monitor production and maintain high quality standards
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, etc. preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Experience with measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and reliability
Bonus if you have:
- Setup experience
- G-code knowledge
- Precision machining background
