Specialist, Technician Biologist | Quality Control with In Vivo Release Testing (IRT) in our Manufacturing Division, Quality Laboratory Operations Team.

Position Responsibilities:

• This role will perform testing in support of releasing vaccines to market.
• Work is on site, task-oriented, of moderate complexity, and is assigned, monitored, and directed by area management or designee.
• Support IRT activities with the execution of general operational tasks, which may be associated with facilities, scheduling, assembly, coordination, delivery, and maintenance of study or program-related information.
• Conduct laboratory procedures in compliance with established testing methods/protocols/sops.
• Document study data in technical notebooks or approved electronic files.
• Review and entry of data in validated systems.
• Support during audits and inspections.
• Rotating holidays and weekend Saturday, Sunday work.

Education Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor degree in biological sciences or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills

• Rodent handling and dosing techniques.
• Rodent observations of physical signs, differentiating and understanding normal rodent demeanor and appearance.
• Rodent gross examinations and necropsy.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Intraperitoneal (IP) and intracranial (IC) routes intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV), and subcutaneous (SQ) routes of administration.
• Familiarity working with and/or around BSL2 materials.
• Working in an GMP and/or GLP setting.
• Effective computer, scientific, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$85,600.00 - $134,800.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
