We're looking for a motivated Project Developer with 3-5 years of experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or facility operations to support the planning, assessment, and development of long-range capital improvement projects.
What You'll Do
Project Planning & Facility Assessments

Assist in conducting facility condition assessments and documenting building system deficiencies

Gather field data, create technical write-ups, and help evaluate system age, condition, and risks

Support the development of budgetary estimates and capital improvement recommendations
Client Support & Collaboration

Participate in client meetings and presentations alongside senior team members

Provide responsive communication, documentation updates, and follow-through on client needs

Help prepare clear preliminary and comprehensive reports for client review
Technical & Design Support

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers during project development

Support creation of drawings, specifications, and construction phasing materials

Assist in reviewing cost estimates at key design milestones

Contribute to RFP, Invitation to Bid, and public bidding support activities
Team & Organizational Contribution

Maintain well-organized project files and documentation

Assist with business development tasks, client engagement, and participation in trade events

Work effectively across multiple assignments, meeting deadlines with quality and accuracy

Work with tools such as MS Excel, BlueBeam, and internal capital-planning software
What You Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

3-5 years of experience in engineering, construction, or facilities-related work

Familiarity with building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, site, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally

Ability to travel to project sites; valid driver's license required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn additional software tools
