What You’ll Do

As a Refrigeration & Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems for industrial processes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and freezers.
• Work on boiler systems as needed.
• Respond to plant emergencies and support operations during weekends and holidays.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and piping/instrumentation diagrams (PPIDs).
• Use and learn touch screen computer systems and the Infinity Database software.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.

Certifications & Licenses

You should have, or be willing to obtain, the following:

• Completion of the McCain Operator Training Program (provided after hire)
• EPA certification for refrigerant use
• McCain Forklift Certification
• RETA Industrial Refrigeration Certification
• High Pressure Boiler Operator license
• 4th Class Boiler Certification (after two years of on-the-job training as a refrigeration mechanic)
