This position is based out of our of Somerset, PA office, but the project location Homer City, PA Your Responsibilities as a Site Construction Surveyor: Perform topography, construction stakeout, as built, and control surveys using conventional and GPS survey methods. Proficient with Carlson and Trimble GPS systems Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction drawings. Have a solid understanding of CAD/Carlson software. Document field observations and prepare daily field reports. Perform office computations for stakeout Observe safe work practices. What we're looking for: GED or High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred. 3-5years of survey experience as a construction layout surveyor required Ability to work with design engineers, clients, contractors, and the general public Ability to work well in a team environment Experience with different surveys and survey equipment. Ableto perform manual labor, able to carry50+ pounds of equipment, walkacross varying terrain, etc. Good driving record. Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations
