Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy interventions following the PT plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and timely
- Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to empower recovery
- Communicate patient status and any changes to the supervising PT
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve their goals
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license, or the ability to obtain one before start
- Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Compassion and dedication to helping others restore mobility and independence
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy interventions and therapeutic modalities
- Patient care and clinical documentation best practices
- Patient education and home exercise program instruction
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and team communication
- Infection control and safety compliance standards
- Time management and adaptability in a skilled nursing setting
