Release Train Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA. The candidate must have strong expertise in automated release management to coordinate dependencies and streamline release execution.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Release Train Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective value delivery across all teams.

• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos to maintain execution rhythm.

• Oversee automated release management processes to ensure smooth, timely, and error‑free deployment cycles.

• Identify, track, and remove impediments that may impact ART progress, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing ART performance and implementing process enhancements.

• Coordinate dependencies, risks, and cross‑team communication to support successful end‑to‑end release delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, or Release Train Engineer roles.

• Strong expertise in running Agile Release Trains and facilitating large‑scale Agile ceremonies in an onsite environment.

• Proven hands‑on experience with automated release management tools and practices to support continuous delivery.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
