Key Job Details – Cath Lab RN

• Location: Johnstown, PA 15905 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Cardiac Cath Lab, 16 beds, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 29, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shifts: 4 x 10-hour day shifts/week (40 hours/week guaranteed)
• On-Call: 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month (minimum, based on department needs)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2250-$2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN or in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Diploma RN or Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Ability to complete Pennsylvania state healthcare clearances (Child Abuse, DHS & FBI fingerprinting, PATCH State Police Clearance)
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for adult and geriatric patients
• Assist with cardiac procedures including STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, cardiogenic shock, and complete heart block
• Operate specialized cardiac equipment: IABP, Impella, Rotablator, Shockwave, and Laser
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio for optimal clinical support
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality cardiac care
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in EPIC EHR system
