About Us: We're launching an exciting new international grocery store located in the Delcroft Shopping Center, featuring a wide range of multicultural food products with a focus on quality halal meats. This store is designed to serve the diverse communities of the area, offering an inclusive shopping experience for customers seeking international and specialty foods.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grocery Store Operations & Sales Manager to take ownership of store launch, daily operations, team management, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory, staffing, scheduling, and customer service
• Lead the launch and setup of the store, including supplier coordination, layout planning, and hiring
• Manage procurement of international grocery products and halal meats
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards in accordance with state and local regulations
• Recruit, train, and supervise team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficiency
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain loyal ones
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control and product displays
• Build relationships with international and halal product vendors and distributors
• Track sales performance and manage store financials including budgets, cost control, and reporting
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of satisfaction and community engagement

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in grocery retail management, preferably with international or specialty stores
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands-on management style
• Experience working with international products and/or halal food is a plus
• Excellent communication, customer service, and team-building skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Passion for multicultural food and creating a welcoming store environment

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based bonuses and growth potential as the store scales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

• Evening shift
• Night shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Folcroft, PA 19032: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
