Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Service Manager to lead and oversee our plumbing service department. This role requires a skilled professional who can efficiently manage operations, mentor technicians, and foster strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support plumbing service technicians.
- Oversee scheduling, routing, and technician assignments to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and codes.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the plumbing service department.
- Review work orders, approve job estimates, and support field technicians on complex issues.
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, call completion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate job costing, materials usage, and invoicing processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and residential clients.
- Support estimating and quoting for repairs, replacements, and service projects.
- Ensure timely communication and professional follow-through.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and customer service.
- Assist in developing service offerings, maintenance programs, and department strategies.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of plumbing service experience.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with service management software and basic office technology.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
This is a Permanent position based out of State College, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
