Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect
Job Description
The Cloud Integration Architect is a senior, hands-on role dedicated to helping Oracle customers implement best practices and maximize the value of Oracle Cloud solutions. Serving as a client advocate, this role provides deep product expertise and translates business needs into seamless, integrated solutions.
Responsibilities include designing and integrating complex IT architectures that align with client objectives, ensuring that systems, applications, and processes work cohesively. As the ultimate authority on solution architecture, the Cloud Integration Architect leads design initiatives and provides strategic direction to address business challenges effectively.
Desired Skills and Experience

10+ years of experience working on large-scale IT implementations involving Middleware integration components, plus 5+ years of firsthand experience with OIC, Oracle SOA 12C, OSB, BPEL VBCS, and Process Cloud Service (PCS).

Experience in designing, developing, and supporting applications on different cloud platforms.

Good understanding and working knowledge of Oracle Fusion middleware products.

Working experience on APEX, ODI.

Working experience on Oracle Database and PL/SQL.

Working experience on Unix or UNIX-like operating systems, such as RH Linux, Oracle Linux.

Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills to oversee Executive escalations.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Experience with the software and tools like Python, Terraform, Maven, Jenkins.

Knowledge and use of REST APIs necessary.

Open-source technologies and cloud services.

An initiative-taker on the forefront of technology.

Ability to handle raised technical situations & develop action plans.

Ability to travel up to 30% to customer locations and internal sessions.
Responsibilities
This hands-on role focuses on helping Oracle customers implement best practices to maximize the value of Oracle Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include supporting CSS customers' PaaS4SaaS implementations, optimizing critical business processes, and ensuring seamless monitoring and regression testing of end-to-end cloud deployments.
The role involves leading architectural and solution design sessions, developing or enhancing product features, and driving innovation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integration technologies, cloud coding languages, and automation. Key products include Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle Process Cloud (PCS), and Oracle Database. Additionally, this position is part of the SWAT team, managing C-level escalations and swiftly resolving critical customer business challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Support Integration Solutions on Cloud, working with clients' business teams to capture requirements and support accordingly.

Drive the deployment of services in Oracle PaaS/SaaS Cloud by building new service tool kits. Setting up tools and required infrastructure.

Find potential risks, problem areas and develop procedures that supply effective workarounds to the problem at hand.

Train other Oracle resources and guide them as per project needs.

Serves as advisory for pre-sales activities around integrations areas as needed.

Works with peers and a matrix of other team members in the business unit to improve products and to expand the capabilities of services provided to Oracle customers.

Help engineering efforts for building tools including feature evaluation, feature selection, automation of tasks, visualization, and integration.

Accelerate consumption in high potential customer accounts by supplying deep technical ability.

Help in run, and support of cloud deployments, Creation, and delivery of technical content, with a dedicated focus on Oracle SaaS & PaaS cloud services.

In this role one will engage with a wide cross section of internal and external partners - development, support, Oracle consulting services, and third-party partners to drive Oracle Cloud adoption.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $52.50 to $107.40 per hour; from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
