Associate Process Control Engineer

Involvement in design/upgrade/commissioning of heavy mechanical industrial equipment related to mill type equipment, i.e., furnaces, roller tables, rolling mill, levelers, shears, cooling beds, blasters, grinders, cranes, gearboxes, fans, motors, and pumps Work with salary and hourly maintenance/production employees to provide the best solutions to equipment and production issues Interfacing with various outside entities, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support the area with parts and services Responsible for maintaining preventative and reliability systems with implementation and management of checklists, surveys, and analysis Manage/improve infrastructure with a focus on building structure, crane runways, platforms, and roofs Plan extended shutdowns for installation of major maintenance items, new equipment, and upgrades Monitoring and identifying maintenance issues as well as implementing engineered solutions Support areas on day-to-day issues, breakdowns, planned maintenance and shutdowns Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are being met Knowledge of critical spare parts management Manage and understand technical drawings archive for area Develop troubleshooting abilities to assist in unplanned maintenance activities Benchmarking operational and maintenance practices to improve upon safety, quality, and productionCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
