Krapf Bus is seeking School Bus Behavior and Conduct Monitors to join the team for the Coatesville Area. The Coatesville Area can include, but is not limited to:

• Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU)
• All Coatesville Area Public Schools
• Child Development Center (CDC)
• Collegium Charter
• Avon Grove Charter School

Job Summary: This field position assists the Operations Manager, Transportation Assistant or Dispatcher with daily transportation functions including resourcing and monitoring, completion of paperwork, and addressing passenger relations issues within the framework of the company’s Operations Excellence Program. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Support the bus driver with student safety, behavior management, and loading/unloading of special needs students.
• Observe student behavior, develop strategies, and implement effective management practices on the bus.
• Maintain confidentiality, complete incident reports, and manage required documentation.
• Assist with securing seating, medical aids, and emergencies, including evacuations.
• Ride multiple routes and attend meetings as needed. Other duties as assigned. Previous experience working with students preferred but not required.

• Split Schedule – Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
• Guaranteed 4-5 hours per day
• 9.5 months out of the year / 38 weeks (summer work available!)
• Day Shift - No nights or weekends required

Qualifications:

• Must complete all company, state, and federal training and recertification.
• Ability to manage student behavior non-confrontationally and handle emergencies calmly.
• Successful completion of required background checks upon hire and ongoing.
• Preferred experience working with school-aged students who have disabilities, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges.
