Position Responsibilities:

• Patient Account Management in a behavioral health setting.
• Manages monthly accounts receivable for designated accounts.
• Resolves unpaid claims and self-pay balances.
• Works with payors to ensure proper reimbursement is received.
• Creates billing statements, send appeals when necessary, prepare accounts for collections and handle all correspondences.
• Identify and escalate payor, reimbursement, or process issues.

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

• 2 to 4 years of medical account receivable experience required.
• Experience with medical billing, denials, and approvals.
• College degree and/or EMR experience preferred.
• Experience working with MS Office and online payor portals (i.e. NaviNet)

Hours: 40 hours - Monday - Friday
