Onsite IT Specialist - Temporary

Curology
Imperial, PA

This role is covering for a leave and anticipated to last about 12 weeks.

About Curology:

Curology’s mission is to make effective, personalized skincare accessible. We were founded by dermatologists who believe everyone should have access to skincare products that actually work. We combine expert medical care with personalized prescription formulas and dermatologist-developed skincare essentials to deliver science-backed solutions that meet people where they are. Join us in our mission to transform skin health and enhance lives—one patient at a time.

Mission of the Role:

We’re looking for an IT Engineer to support our internal IT operations across both corporate and operational environments. This role is highly hands-on and fast-paced—you’ll be responsible for keeping critical systems running smoothly while also contributing to projects that improve how we work.

You’ll support a mix of end-user needs, hardware and infrastructure, and cross-functional IT initiatives. Success in this role means being responsive, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve processes rather than just maintaining them.

This role is on-site at our compounding pharmacy and fulfillment warehouse in Imperial, PA Monday through Friday with occasional availability required on evenings and weekends.

Essential Functions and Impact Areas:

IT Operations & Support

  • Support daily IT operations across a variety of systems, including endpoints (computers, iPads), peripherals (scanners, printers), networks, and conference room technology
  • Provide real-time support to on-site staff, addressing technical issues and requests as they arise
  • Manage and resolve IT Help Desk tickets for remote users (troubleshooting, software access requests, etc.)
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support (6 AM - 10 PM)

User Lifecycle Management

  • Own onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning/deprovisioning, hardware setup, and access management
  • Conduct IT orientation for new hires and ensure a smooth first-day experience
  • Support onboarding of specialized roles on-site (e.g., pharmacists, pharmacy technicians), including system access, device setup, and physical access badge creation
  • Handle hardware reclamation and license management during offboarding

Asset & Device Management

  • Track and manage IT assets across their lifecycle (procurement, deployment, refresh, break/fix, and disposal)
  • Maintain accurate inventory of devices and ensure proper allocation for new hires and replacements

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to and help lead IT projects such as system upgrades, office/equipment moves, and process improvements
  • Partner with the broader IT team on company-wide initiatives and operational improvements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT desktop support, help desk, or a similar hands-on role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across computer hardware and software (70% macOS, 20% Windows, 10% iPadOS)
  • Basic understanding of enterprise networking (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet)
  • Experience managing user lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, access management)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and help desk workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, or crawl under desks as needed
  • Passion for learning new technologies - improving yourself and the team around you
  • Occasional availability on evenings and weekends

Nice-to-Haves (If applicable):

  • Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, or industrial warehouse environments
  • Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) platforms (Jamf, Kandji, etc.)
  • Experience in Okta and Google Workspace administration
  • Participated in or lead large IT projects (upgrades, migrations, process improvements)
  • Loads of empathy, patience, and a good sense of humor
