Product Owner (Mid Level)
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner (Mid Level) in Philadelphia, PA. Duties Include:
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to align with business strategy and user needs
- Translate business requirements into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and maintain delivery momentum
- Support Program Increment (PI) planning and execution
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, product roadmap, and technical delivery
- Use product usage data and customer feedback to inform prioritization decisions
- Support dashboards and reporting to track product performance and team health
- Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and Agile best practices
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of experience in product ownership or Agile product management
- Strong experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs
- Proficiency with backlog prioritization and sprint planning practices
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting team delivery
- Ability to analyze data trends to guide product decisions
- Familiarity with system architecture, integrations, and technical concepts
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Agile/Product Owner certification (e.g., SAFe POPM, CSPO) preferred
