What You’ll Do
The Weighing & Blending Operator is responsible for accurately dispensing raw materials and operating blending equipment used in the manufacture of oral solid dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical products. This role ensures that materials are weighed, verified, and blended in strict accordance with approved Master Batch Records (MBRs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and cGMP requirements. The operator supports the early stages of pharmaceutical production by preparing precise formulations and maintaining high standards of safety, documentation, and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
• Weigh and dispense raw materials according to approved Master Batch Records (MBRs), ensuring accuracy and proper identification of all components used in manufacturing.
• Operate blending equipment such as V-blenders, bin blenders, and related material handling systems used in oral solid dosage production.
• Verify material identity, lot numbers, and quantities to ensure compliance with production documentation and cGMP standards.
• Monitor blending processes to ensure proper mixing parameters and batch uniformity throughout production.
• Perform equipment setup, cleaning, and changeovers in accordance with validated procedures and approved cleaning documentation.
• Complete batch records, logbooks, and electronic documentation accurately and contemporaneously following ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
• Maintain strict adherence to gowning procedures, safety requirements, and contamination control practices within the manufacturing environment.
• Communicate production issues, discrepancies, or equipment concerns to Manufacturing Supervision and Quality Assurance.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas in accordance with 5S standards and company safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production schedules and regulatory compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1–3 years of manufacturing, production, or pharmaceutical experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
• Familiarity with weighing, dispensing, or blending processes in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Basic understanding of cGMP standards and documentation practices.
• Ability to follow detailed batch records and standard operating procedures with precision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when handling raw materials.
• Ability to operate or learn blending equipment and material handling systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills within a production environment.
• Ability to maintain compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Schedule
Full-time, on-site 2nd shift position . Flexibility required for overtime, weekend coverage, or alternate shifts based on production demands.
