Position Summary

Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor, the Route Procurement Specialist is a key contributor to Zinpro’s success by servicing existing routes daily. Work will center around procuring new farms and maintaining positive relationships with current vendors. Success in this position requires a safe driving record, knowledge of dairy operations in their designated territory, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with dairy farmers to collect colostrum and develop a collection route. The position requires that the successful candidate be based in or near their assigned dairy territory. CDL not required for this position. This position will be located in Southern Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland Territory.

Essential Functions

• Develops new clients and maintains relationships with dairy farmers
• Collects colostrum and procures new farms within existing route region
• Records daily collection data and maintains inventory and equipment
• All other duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of dairy farm operations and the ability to work effectively with dairy producers
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. on a regular basis
• Safe driving record
• Strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills

Preferred:

• Familiarity with collection route operations

Schedule Requirements

The Route Procurement Specialist is expected to work a 40-hour, Monday-Friday work week to service their routes.

Travel Requirements

This position requires to travel within assigned region or route to perform required work duties. This position may engage in occasional company-sponsored travel for employer events.
