Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care available for a travel assignment in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Start date: June 1, 2026. This is an 8-week temporary assignment with guaranteed 32 hours per week. Schedule comprises five 8-hour evening shifts per week (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), including every other weekend. Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC in a LTC - Nursing Home setting.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the plan of care.
- Monitor patient status, document vital signs, labs, and changes; communicate with the supervising RN.
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility) and provide general bedside care.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes as delegated; monitor for signs of infection.
- Document care in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy of MARs and care plans.
- Respond to call lights, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and maintain patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience or demonstrated comfort in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Ability to work evenings (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) and to commit to an 8-week travel assignment.
- Ability to pass credentialing and background checks required for travel assignments.
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills.
- Eligibility to participate in travel assignment processes and comply with facility policies.
