Hours: Mon-Fri 730a - 330p

Rate: $21.25 - $22.50

Job Duties

Instructor for high functioning adults with special needs at the Moon Twp. Employment Option Center adult day program

Ability to grasp and teach vocational skills as well as promote personal independence.

Provide hands on support to individuals as needed

Plan and implement engaging activities with the individuals

Organization skills, flexibility and the ability to handle multiple projects.

Good written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or relevant college credits in the human service field preferred.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with IDD.

Demonstrates a working knowledge of team leadership.

Computer skills

Valid Driver's License

Requirements (all provided by McGuire):

Ability to pass physical and drug screening

Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance

Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check

FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting)

TB testing
