Assistant Manager
Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of human resources management including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. Develop and implement HR policies and programs that align with organizational goals. Manage employee orientation and training & development programs to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Lead performance management initiatives, including employee evaluations and succession planning. Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment laws while managing workers' compensation claims. Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or Oracle HCM for efficient data management and reporting. Conduct data analysis to inform strategic planning and process improvement efforts within the HR function. Facilitate conflict management processes to resolve workplace issues effectively. Collaborate with senior leadership to design organizational structures that support business objectives. Requirements Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA and OSHA regulations. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Experience in program management and strategic planning within an HR context. Familiarity with various HR software such as Paychex, Dayforce, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian or similar systems. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively. Strong organizational skills with a focus on data collection and analysis for decision-making purposes. Experience in budgeting processes related to human resources functions is preferred.
