Job Summary
Launch your career as a Quality Control Associate in a hands-on, warehouse-based contract role with a focus on upholding material quality and safety standards. You will be primarily responsible for the critical task of sampling incoming raw materials and components according to QC SOPs to support global manufacturing. This role requires strong attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of cGMP and ISO standards, and involves supporting essential quality checks like Environmental Monitoring and recording temperature/humidity data, with additional duties supporting general warehouse operations. location: Reading, Pennsylvania job type: Contract salary: $19 - 24 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: High School Responsibilities- Perform sampling of incoming raw materials and components in accordance with established Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support global manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for the routine cleaning of the Sample Room, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Conduct monthly collection of Environmental Monitoring samples utilizing specialized equipment, including an air sampling unit and incubator.
- Affix barcode labels to materials subsequent to the completion of the sampling process.
- Perform standard readings of charts that track temperature and humidity data.
- Executes assigned tasks with a strong emphasis on safety, prioritizing both personal and team well-being.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required) College degree preferred
- Experience preferred in SAP, Infor LX, Microsoft Excel, and spreadsheet applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
