Hiring: Solution Architect– Erie, PA

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead with strong Insurance domain expertise to lead enterprise application architecture, solution design, and product implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess deep experience in PCLA Insurance systems, Java technologies, workflow engines, and enterprise solution architecture across global markets including North America, India, APAC, and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Design solutions for the project that enable customer to meet their process business goals.

Leading the requirement session with client.

Development of solution architecture and design across a set of applications or application product family within an enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities

Development of solution architecture and design across a set of applications or application product family within an enterprise

Enable customer to fulfil the stated project objectives

Lead solution of the product implementation

Support execution of project from solution perspective and technology perspective

Prepare and Review estimations

Support presales

Support QC

Skills Attributes Required

Strong PCLA Insurance domain knowledge in North American Indian Asia Pacific UK market

Experience in ICD ICM

Experience in UML based analysis and design using tools eg Rational Rose Together J

Experience in setting up business rules and workflow engines

Design Development experience with object oriented programming in JAVA technology stack

Experience in both high level as well as low level design

Should have conducted requirements sessions understanding customers business processes

Understand and use frameworks to design and review solutions for functional and non-functional requirements

Leading a team of software specialists engineers for the creation implementation of solution architecture for a product application

Experience in any database with clear understanding of RDBMS concepts

Desirable

Experience in performance tuning of product application

Exposure to design frameworks

Exposure to automation tools

Functional Skills

Understand the principles of accounting or commerce or finance

Other skills

Managing a team of 1012 resources

Good communication as there would be a need to work closely with the customers

Ready to travel onsite for 23 months duration

Experience in Estimation methodologies"
