Direct Care Worker

Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers (DCWs). In this fulfilling role, you will provide essential support to clients who require assistance with daily living activities in their homes and in a facility. Your responsibilities will include helping with personal care, meal preparation, and companionship, all tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, making this a truly impactful position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
• Support clients with mobility needs and transportation if required.

Requirements

• Experience in a caregiving or direct care role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
