An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Business & Finance Attorney to join its growing team in Pittsburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–7 years of experience who is looking to work closely with senior legal professionals while advising a diverse range of commercial clients.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting businesses through complex transactions, corporate matters, and strategic legal initiatives. This position offers exposure to a broad range of business law matters, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a variety of business and corporate legal matters.
• Support and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from initial due diligence through closing.
• Assist with commercial lending and financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including:
• Purchase and supply agreements
• Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
• Commercial leases
• Employment-related contracts
• Advise on business entity formation, structuring, governance, and related legal considerations.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-focused advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Essential Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 3–7 years of post-qualification legal experience gained within a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical legal advice aligned with client objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
