This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–7 years of experience who is looking to work closely with senior legal professionals while advising a diverse range of commercial clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting businesses through complex transactions, corporate matters, and strategic legal initiatives. This position offers exposure to a broad range of business law matters, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a variety of business and corporate legal matters.
- Support and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from initial due diligence through closing.
- Assist with commercial lending and financing transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including:
- Purchase and supply agreements
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Commercial leases
- Employment-related contracts
- Advise on business entity formation, structuring, governance, and related legal considerations.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, business-focused advice to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Essential Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
- 3–7 years of post-qualification legal experience gained within a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical legal advice aligned with client objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
