Job Title: AssemblerJob Description

Join our team as an assembler where you will be integral in assembling small parts for elevator doors, walls, and more. Your primary responsibilities include assembling a variety of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components, as well as packing parts for shipment. We welcome candidates with basic assembly experience or a mechanical inclination.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.
• Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.
• Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and both written and oral instructions.
• Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.
• Maintain all required records and documents.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to perform picking and packing tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Kitting experience is an advantage.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform inspections.
• Capable of some lifting, up to 50lbs.

Work Environment

Work in a semi-climate controlled and fairly clean environment with moderate noise levels. Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 5 am to 1:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
