**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in an educational environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as necessary, and reporting any suspicious activity.
+ Document and report security-related incidents or unusual conditions according to established protocols.
+ Support emergency response activities by giving directions and information as needed during incidents.
+ Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities as required to address incidents or emergencies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
