Position Summary

We are seeking motivated Production Technicians to join our high-performance shift teams in a 24/7 manufacturing facility. This role is essential to achieving operational goals across Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, Cost, and Production during each shift.

Production Technicians provide vital support to the team and facility, with a structured career path that includes cross-training and advancement opportunities. Entry-level technicians begin with general team support responsibilities and are expected to grow their operational skills over time, with the goal of advancing to “Tech A” status—qualified to operate and maintain highly technical equipment and systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: Starting at $28.80/hour, with the opportunity to earn $32.02/hour at Tech A level

Shift & Schedule Highlights

• 12-hour shifts (day or night)
• Predictable rotating schedule
• Multiple consecutive days off
• Full-time hours with fewer workdays per month

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support systems including:
• High-speed corrugating machinery
• Robotic assembly equipment
• Conveyors and batch mixers
• Electrical distribution and building automation systems
• Follow all safety protocols and required PPE standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
• Ensure products meet quality, cost, and productivity goals
• Work collaboratively within your shift team and across departments
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime
• Suggest and support improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and plant leadership
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Show willingness to learn and grow technical skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
• Clamp truck operation (a plus)
• Prior experience in corrugated packaging or manufacturing industry
• Military training related to operations or maintenance (preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Job-related certifications (preferred)
• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field (a plus)

• Comfortable using hand tools, performing rigging, and handling materials.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and maintain balance on narrow walkways.
• Capable of operating powered industrial trucks (training provided if needed).
• Able to reach, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as the job requires.
• Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds independently.
• Have good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing consistent with OSHA safety standards.
