Common Ground Connections is currently hiring Direct Support Profressionals to support adults with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives. This role focuses on community engagement, independence, and meaningful participation.. This is not facility-based care.

Responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Support adults with intellectual disabilities in in home & community-based activities
- Assist with shopping, appointments, and errands
- Participate in local events, outings, and recreational activities
- Provide employment and vocational support
- Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development
- Serve as a positive, respectful presence in the individual’s daily routine
Experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current registration and inspection
- Ability to transport individuals as needed
- Availability during the evening and weekends preferred
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Genuine interest in helping others and making a positive impact
Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
