Project Manager
job summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager for an end-to-end leadership position, responsible for delivering strategic "brownfield" projects across company's North American facilities. You will navigate projects through a structured Stage-Gate governance model, ensuring they are technically sound, financially controlled, and fully operational upon handover.

responsibilities:
- Own the entire lifecycle of strategic capital projects (B & C categories), leading them through the Basic and Detailed Engineering phases to final closeout
- Responsible for navigating the project through critical "Gates" (G3-G6). This involves preparing hgih-quality authorization packages for execution, construction, and commissioning to ensure the project is "decision-ready" for leadership
- Develop the strategies for contractor selection, site logistics, and sequencing. A major focus is coordinating with Plant Management to ensure construction occurs safely during shutdowns and outages with minimal disruption to production
- Establish and defend the project's cost and schedule baselines. You must manage a rigorous change-control process to prevent "scope creep" and ensure that any deviations are transparent and justified
- You don't just "finish" the project; you ensure the plant is ready to own it. This includes leading commissioning, performance testing, and the complete handover of documentation and training to site operations
- Act as the primary interface for stakeholders, providing transparent, data-driven reporting on KPIs (Schedule/Cost performance, Risk exposure, and Forecast accuracy) to both the PMO and Executive Leadership.
