The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, counseling, and supportive services for a diverse population in a fast-paced Mental Health Agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical assessments and create person-centered treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for clients who present with various concerns such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment disorders
- Continually assess client situations and provide the proper ongoing treatments · Prepare discharge summaries
- All other clinical tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must show the ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate with clients and to remain calm under stress.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English is a plus but is not required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (required) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Master’s degree(preferred) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Must be familiar or willing to be trained on EMR systems
- Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses
- This is a Fee For Service position

- ChildLine Abuse Clearance
- FBI Background Check
- Mandated reporter certificate
