Overview
Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician (Maintenance), who will be responsible for the routine upkeep and emergency repair of industrial equipment and the surrounding facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance including but not limited to lubricating, inspecting, changing filters and general cleaning
Service overhead cranes: everything from a ½ ton jib to a 100 ton
Service industrial equipment: plasma, waterjet and laser cutting tables; CNC and manual mills and lathes; welding power supplies and feeders.
Facility maintenance including garage doors and plumbing.
HVAC includes air conditioning units, propane heaters and furnaces.
Maintain an assortment of tools and utilize them as necessary.
Regular and timely attendance.
Adhere to federal, state and local laws.
Perform work safely, maintain a clean and organized work area, comply with and follow company policies and procedures.
Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, vendors and others in a courteous, respectful and professional manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Specific Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and diagrams, as appropriate.
- Understanding of electrical principles, at least a basic level.
- Able to identify parts by reading machine data plates and decipher drawings or diagrams as appropriate.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, primarily boom lifts.
- Critical thinking.
- Troubleshooting.
- Self-driven motivation to pursue success with or without daily team support.
- Adaptable with ability to move from job to job understanding that priorities can change.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Trade school diploma/certificate with a minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Technician, mechanic and/or electrician.
- Dual trade Electro-Mechanical technicians preferred.
- Minimum as a mechanical technician.
- 2-10 years of work experience preferred.
- Without trade school/advanced education, High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 4 years related work experience
