**Job Title: Assistant Processor** **Hours: 4am-4pm, 2/2/3** **Location: Chambersburg, PA** **Pay: $19.41/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Processor to join our team. This role involves the physical loading of raw materials into machines, ensuring the highest quality of finished products through precise mixing and processing according to established formulas. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to maintain quality standards and contribute to the smooth operation of our food processing facility. **Responsibilities** + Physically load raw materials such as spices, sugars, and seasonings into machines. + Maintain accurate logs of materials fed into machines, both in paper and electronic formats. + Operate machines to ensure products are processed for the correct duration. + Perform quality checks on products as they are processed and fed into containers. + Mix finished products to maintain the highest quality standards. + Prepare products according to established formulas, monitoring production needs. + Set up the deck for the daily schedule and operate equipment to aid in processing formulas. + Use local control panels to manage the addition of metered and manually added ingredients. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food manufacturing and processing. + Proficiency as a machine operator with a strong understanding of GMP and HACCP standards. + Ability to perform quality control checks effectively. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED is preferred. + Related experience in food processing is advantageous. + Ability to read and interpret safety rules and standard operating procedures. + Possess math skills to verify quantities of ingredients accurately. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment where your contributions matter.
