Role Overview

As an Accounting Coordinator at Vista, you will play a key role in ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently. This role involves maintaining reports and distributing statements to our 200+ advisors, staff members, managers, and their teams. This role will also be involved with the handling of financial transactions, coordinating with vendors, and various supporting data entry and bookkeeping tasks. This position is ideal for process-oriented professionals who enjoy refining structured analytical work, and want to grow their expertise in bookkeeping, financial modeling, and client reporting.

You will work closely with the Director of Finance and Head of Operations to implement an efficient and adaptable system of financial operations for the agency and its advisors.

What You’ll Do

  • Compensation & Communication: Prepare and distribute regular reports and pay statements to our advisors and their teams
  • Accounts Payable & Vendor Relations: Manage and process agency bills, utilities, and reimbursements. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate databases of agency and advisor information, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Bookkeeping Support: Perform data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks as needed. Support month-end and year-end closing processes

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in bookkeeping and data entry (QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Prioritizes organization with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-oriented environment
