Thornton Automotive Dover is looking for a qualified Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team in a clean, modern, state-of-the-art, AIR-CONDITIONED service center . Our service department has made huge strides over the few years—and we’re continuing to grow!

We’re a premium used automotive Sales, Service, and Collision Center located on Route 74 in Dover, PA . Our shop is 10 years old , bright , well-maintained , and built for technicians who want a professional environment and steady work.

What You’ll Do:

As a Service Technician/Mechanic, you’ll deliver high-quality automotive service and repairs while supporting an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of makes/models.
• Complete inspections and recommended services.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service work.
• Document repairs and services clearly and thoroughly.
• Communicate findings and needs through proper service documentation.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles using modern tools and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and professional attitude.
• Inspection licenses and prior inspection experience are a plus.
