Senior Human Resources Generalist
Are you an experienced HR professional who knows how to build trust, improve culture, and create positive change within a complex workforce?
We are working on behalf of a client seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support a people-focused organization with many moving parts. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable being visible with employees, partnering closely with leaders, navigating employee relations, and helping create a stronger, more engaged workplace culture.
The right person will bring a hands-on HR approach, strong emotional intelligence, and experience supporting workforce stability, employee engagement, and change in a high-touch environment.
Senior HR Generalist Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, and recruitment
- Experience working directly with employees and leaders to improve culture, engagement, and retention
- Proven ability to support change initiatives within a complex workforce
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and HR best practices
- Experience managing investigations, resolving conflicts, and providing practical HR guidance
- Ability to build trust, influence leaders, and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
- Experience supporting a high-touch, high-volume, or multi-department workforce strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience with HR systems such as Paycom is a plus
Senior HR Generalist Main Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to support a positive workplace culture
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance concerns, coaching, documentation, and policy guidance
- Help identify and address workforce challenges, including morale, retention, communication, and engagement
- Support culture-building efforts and initiatives that create a more stable and connected workforce
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and employee experience initiatives
- Monitor HR trends and provide insight on areas of opportunity across the workforce
- Support HR projects, compliance efforts, and process improvements
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, employment laws, and organizational expectations
