As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Butler, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed professional in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role calls for an Act 235 qualified candidate who brings a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working with teamwork and integrity to support patients, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, document security-related incidents and observations, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, following reporting protocols, and remaining prepared for changing conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
