IT Support Services Technician

Responsibilities: The purpose of the IT Support Services Technician is to provide first level technical support for all Members 1st FCU associates. The IT Support Services Technician is the primary point-of-contact for all technology-related support requests for the organization. This role is responsible for telephone support to end-users on hardware, software, general use questions, and network related problems. In addition, the role will work under limited supervision and inspection of work. This role requires regular analysis of data and the ability to meet interpersonal, analytical, and organizational demands.
With limited decision making, the key responsibilities include providing end user hardware/software support, logging all contacts into Help Desk ticketing system for handling, tracking, and reporting purpose. Under supervision, the IT Support Services Technician performs a variety of IT service tasks which are broad in nature and is concerned with the support, maintenance, and administration of the end user. Finally, the role will require normal courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, which involves much personal contact with others.
SKILLS
• Demonstrated mastery of desktop systems and/or various software applications and concepts
• Monitor and react to alerts from various reporting software
• Strong analytical skills and reasoning ability to identified solutions to technical issues
• Solid organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to determine the source of issues; i.e. network, server, client side, databases, etc. to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner and properly solved
• Proficient in Microsoft applications

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
• Ability to sit for extended time periods
• Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
• Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
1-3 years of related experience

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.
