RM Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Our products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.

The Line Lead is responsible for coordinating staff, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and providing hands-on support to production employees.

Line Lead Duties:

• Oversee production line activities, ensuring schedules, work orders, and quality standards are met. Address production issues and employee concerns while filling in as needed.
• Monitor processes for food safety and sanitation compliance, inspect materials and equipment for defects, and enforce company policies. Report any concerns to management.
• Train line workers and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and enforce safety and waste disposal procedures
• Lead and coordinate packers and utility workers on the production line.
  

Line Lead Skills:

• Basic computer and mechanical skills.
• GMP knowledge.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Strong organizational skills.

Line Lead Experience:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
