Job Description
The after school program operates between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Assistant is responsible for the supervision of children from Pre-school through eight grade. This role will ensure that the children are safe, while maintaining continuity and quality of the program.
Clearances are required.
Responsibilities:
- Record attendance and log program use.
- Provide a nurturing environment for all students.
- Assist with students with homework or educational play.
- Work with other team members as needed.
- Ensure all children are signed in and out each day.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Be a spiritual role model and positive support.
- Observe, record, and report on the behavior of individual children as assigned.
